9 Self-Care Tips for the Holiday Season *VIDEO BLOG*,Lenny LaRocca

Between buying gifts, attending and hosting parties, trying to stay healthy, attending family gatherings and not breaking the bank, it can also be the most stressful time of the year and it is super important to practice self care. Tip #1: DON’T HOLD IT INEmotions, baggage, discomfort can accompany the holidays. Whether you're stressed about money, missing a loved one, or dreading spending time with family members, don't keep it all in. Talk to somebody.   Tip #2: DON’T LET ANXIETY TAKE LEADYou may be thinking, but I've got too much to do, how do I fit it all? Answer this is when you need self care. Make the time. Even if it's just a few minutes, you deserve it.   Tip #3: BE ACTIVEFitting in movement can help you relieve stress, anxiety, boost energy, and just make you feel better all around, as we all know. So try to fit in physical activity where you can, even if it's just a five minute walk around the block. Work off that meal that you just had or just taking the stairs instead of riding the elevator. But make sure you stay active.   Tip #4: SAY “NO”Get picky about all that you say yes to those events gathering that brings on stress .Just say no. The holiday season makes it easy for us to stretch ourselves too thin, right?   Tip #5: GET SOME PROPER SLEEPDuring this time of the year, we stretch ourselves a lot where we're out late shopping and we're wrapping gifts late at night and we're just not really getting the rest that we need. So it does recommend that you do get your 7-8 hours per night.   Tip #6: STAY HYDRATEDWe underestimate the importance of water when we are especially busy, but dehydration can take a toll on our body. Aim to drink. Drink half of your body weight in ounces, water helps boost your energy, flushes toxins from your system, and amongst other things.   Tip #7: TAKE YOUR VITAMINSPeople tend to get sick around the holidays and we all know we're having a wave right now. And so, because we get stressed, over committed, and not eating well and sleeping enough, taking vitamins can help boost our immune system during this crazy time of our year.   Tip #8: PAMPER YOURSELFThe holidays are a great excuse to treat yourself to a little pampering. Get a new haircut, go to a massage, give yourself a manicure, etc.   Tip #9: MAKE A BUDGET AND RESPECT ITWe want to be generous with our loved ones at this time of the year, and holiday shopping should not jeopardize our financial health. Be realistic about what you can afford and spend your spend on your loved ones. Set yourself a budget and stick to it. We’re a couple of days away from Christmas, so we want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. We want to thank all of our great clients who have entrusted their business with us this year. We're really looking forward to serving all of your needs in 2023.

Tips for Finding a New Home That Will Have Your Pet Jumping for Joy!,Lenny LaRocca

Chances are, your pet is your best bud, which is why you may be wondering how you’ll find a property that'll keep him happy too. At Larocca Real Estate, we have in-depth knowledge of family (and pet-friendly) properties in the California region. Let us walk you through what to expect and what you and your pet can look forward to when you visit our website today! What will your home look like What you desire your home to be and what you can find and afford may differ quite a bit. Or not. Start with your budget. And then look at the types of mortgages you can qualify for. Discuss your options with a realtor and/or financial lender. Look for available properties through an online portal that you can filter according to your specifications. Check with the landlord first if you are allowed a pet there. Prepare for the move Do as much preparation work beforehand to ensure your pet is as comfortable as can be throughout the process. Start with the moving process as early as possible, so your pet can start picking on these cues ahead of time. Let hime start familiarizing himself with your new home purchase by packing them in the area he can visit from time to time. Be present with him as he investigates his new belongings to give him added assurance that it is safe to play there. Make it a fun exercise by playing fetch in the amidst the boxes so that he isn't afraid of them when they have to move. Make sure he has what he needs You’ll naturally want to ensure that your pet has everything he needs and could want to help with the transition. Not a lot goes into keeping a pet happy. Just be surehe has the essentials, such as a bed, harness, toys, his favorite feeding bowls, etc. Look into toys that are not only playful but educational too. Dog puzzles are a good option to go with. Give him loads of love and attention so that he knows you're there for him regardless of where he is. Consider taking some time off to ensure your dog feels comfortable enough for when you have to leave eventually. Moving to a new home with your pet can be a memorable and enjoyable experience, provided that you show them that there is nothing to be apprehensive of in the first place!
